Dr Zdenka Grundel
Dr Zdenka Grundel completed her medical training in the Czech Republic in 1981. She migrated to Australia in 1990 and subsequently worked at Calvary Hospital for 5 years. She has worked as a GP in Canberra for over 20 years and regularly locums in remote indigenous communities. She has a special interest in Travel Medicine and is skilled in local injections for musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr Les Buczynski
Dr Les Buczynski studied at Jaqiellonian University in Krakow. Les came to Australia in 1984 and worked at Woden Hospital from 1991, he completed his FRACGP Fellowship in 1995. Dr Buczynski started in Dickson as a GP in 1995. Les has special interest in Travel medicine and is an accredited ISTM (International Society of Travel Medicine) doctor, and also interested in sports medicine, occupational medicine and general practitioner. Les is also fluent in Polish and his outside interests are reading and travel.
Dr Tereza Prouza
Dr Tereza Prouza grew up in Canberra and initially undertook a Bachelor of Arts specialising in International Relations. She completed her medical training at the ANU in 2010 and went on to further training in General Practice. She has worked in both Canberra and overseas and speaks fluent French as well as German and Czech. She has a special interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Travel Medicine.
Dr Dianne Hannaford
Dr Dianne Hannaford studied at University of NSW. Dianne has a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Medicine and Dip RACOG and has been a GP in Canberra for many years. Dr Hannaford has a special interest in Women’s Health, Antenatal Care, Family Planning, General Practice and is qualified in Mirena and Implanon procedures.
Dr Hannaford is available for Mirena insertions only.
Dr Douglas Randell
Dr Douglas Randell completed his medical training at the University of Sydney and undertook further training in General Practice in Townsville. Following a period in rural general practice, he served with the Australian Army, undertaking specialist training in Aviation medicine. He has an interest in occupational health, travel for work, and tropical diseases. Dr Randell is able to undertake employment, road, rail and diving medicals.
Margaret has worked in the Canberra hospital network and joined our team in 2015.
Hannah has recently jointed our team. She has extended training in immunisation as well as wound management.
